The following is actually true (the bits which can be true and aren't just opinion)

Alan Johnson is "expected to sign off a parliamentary order later this week", or so says the Guardian, which will ban groups which are deemed to "glorify" terrorism.

As David Mitchell articulates so entertainingly in his comment, this is a removal of freedom of speech. Not all freedom of speech, but nonetheless of freedom of speech.

Why do the BNP get a slot on Question Time when members of Islam4UK will be punishable to ten years in prison? And where are we suddenly getting prison space from?
There are currently over 80,000 men, women and children in prison in England and Wales,  The prison population has been rising steadily since 1993, increasing from 42,000 to today's unprecedented levels.  This means that there are now a higher percentage of people in prison here than in any other country in western Europe.

Do we need more reasons to put people in prison? Is saying stuff going to be the next reason? What next? Hell, let's put everyone in prison. That would be very ******* safe.

But we need a balance of opinions here. What do the major news outlets (UK) have to say?

Interesting to see Reuters has no section on the UK but does have sections for Oddly Enough, Sarah Palin, and Wine! So there ya go. Really special relationship. Mmmhmm. You know, you get to that page from "All Countries" from the News & Markets tab. Can you believe everyone else copies a news outlet that only recognises eighteen countries outside of U.S.A.?

Not many papers were running with this story when I checked: The Independent did choose to feature an article discussing Russell Brand and Katy Perry holding hands and exchanging tweets; The Times instead discussed kids learning to meditate at school "to reduce stress"; and the Telegraph chose "Middle class professionals in tax evasion crackdown". So I have to give The Mail credit for actually running the story -

Guilty? It's a badge of honour say Muslim hate mob (and because we're on benefits, the state will pay our costs)

No hate in that.
